This Nanasimgit and the Killer Whale Pendant is carved in Argillite, with one Mother of Pearl inlay in the lip, two Abalone inlays in the eyes and 1 Mastodon Ivory inlay on the top left of the pendant. It has silver inlayed around the outside of the pendant. It is carved by Darrell White from the Haida Nation.

The pendant represents the Haida Story where Nanasimgit saves his wife from the Undersea World, to which a Killer Whale had kidnapped and taken her. The pendant depicts a killer whale dorsal fin with the wife of Nanasimgit carved into it.

The pendant is close to 2 inches or 5 centimeters long without the bail and up to 1 1/2 inches or 3 3/4 centimeters wide and 1/4 of an inch or close to 3/4 centimeters deep.

A silver chain is not included but can be purchased separately .
